Vor kurzem konnten wir aus einer Zeitung entnehmen, dass die Str\u00e4nde in Newcastle, wegen Sichtung eines Haies gesperrt worden sind, jetzt wissen wir auch warum es die Meerwasserpools gibt. Die Stadt scheint vom und mit dem Hafen zu Leben. Man konnte Schiffe von aller Herren L\u00e4nder sehen, wie sie leer in den Hafen hinein und voll beladen wieder in die weite Welt hinaus fuhren .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sehr interessant war die Seite <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marinetraffic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">marinetraffic.com<\/a>, hatte man so einen schnellen \u00dcberblick, was sich vor dem Hafen und im Hafen alles abspielt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wie es ausschaut, wenn etwas schief geht, kann man hier sehen: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MV_Drake\" target=\"_blank\">MV Drake<\/a><\/p>\n<h1>Umgebung<\/h1>\n<h2>Hunter Valley<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.107er.net\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0134.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-520 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.107er.net\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0134.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0134\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.107er.net\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0134.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.107er.net\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0134-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.107er.net\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0134-500x250.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a>Im Hinterland von Newcastle gibt es, mit dem Hunter Valley, eines der bekanntesten Weingebiete Australien. In der Region gibt es \u00fcber 100 Weing\u00fcter die man besuchen kann.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apropo Wein! Will man eine Flasche Wein aus \u00d6sterreich, als &#8222;Danke Sch\u00f6n&#8220;, nach Australien schicken, dann ist das schon wirtschaftlich nicht sehr sinnvoll, und sp\u00e4testens, wenn der Beschenkte, beim Zoll einige Australische Dollar hinbl\u00e4ttern muss, um an den guten Tropfen zu gelangen, sollte man sich das nochmal gut \u00fcberlegen. Es gibt Gott sei Dank Australische Online Shops, die \u00f6sterreichischen Wein f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stockton Beach<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die D\u00fcnen von <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stockton_Beach\" target=\"_blank\">Stockton Beach<\/a> ist ein Tummelplatz f\u00fcr Camper und Abenteurer (4WD Drive, Sand Boarding). Leider war das Wetter teilweise so schlecht, dass wir den Strand nicht besucht haben.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ab in den Norden<\/h1>\n<p>Mit einem E190 von Virgin Australia ging es Richtung Brisbane. Obwohl es nur in den Norden ging, mu\u00dfte wir unsere Uhr eine Stunde verstellen. Der Grund ist, dass NSW Sommer- und Winterzeit hat, Queensland aber nicht.
